After almost four weeks of counting, the NSW Electoral Commission finalised the results of the 2021 local government elections yesterday.
The eight councillors on Berrigan Shire are: John Taylor, Renee Paine, Roger Reynoldson, Carly Marriott, Ted Hatty, Sarah McNaught, Matthew Hannan and Julia Cornwell McKean.

The council, which has an equal gender split after being all male for some time, includes three incumbents in Councillors Hannan, Reynoldson and Taylor.
The new council will be sworn in during an extraordinary council meeting, to be held Thursday, January 13.
Murrumbidgee Council’s nine councillors are: Jerilderie Ward – Ruth McRae, Faith Bryce and Troy Mauger; Murrumbidgee East Ward – Christine Chirgwin, Robert Black and Timothy Strachan; Murrumbidgee Ward – Gavin Gilbert, Judith Saxvik, Robert Curphey.
Councillors Saxvik and Mauger are the only new faces elected.
The council will be sworn in at an extraordinary meeting tomorrow.
