Murrumbidgee Council’s upcoming Celebrating Seniors Festival has some activities planned for local seniors between May 2 and 16.
All activities are free, with bookings essential.

• ‘Olympics’ Seniors Luncheon - Thursday, May 2 at the Jerilderie Sports Club. Mornign team from 10.30am. Join for a fun filled day of Olympic themed games, laughs and a free lunch.
• Seniors Movie - Friday, May 3 at Herilderie libraary, Arrive by 1pm.
Darlington Point:
• Altina Mini Zoo Adventure - Wednesday, May 15. Arrive at 10.15am for a 10.30am start. This is a short walking tour involving narrow pathways, so enclosed footwear is recommended.
• Seniors Luncheon - Wednesday, May 15 at the Darlington Point Sports Club. Starting from noon, this lunch will follow directly after the mini zoo tour.
Coleambally:
• CakeUp & Coffee - Thursday, May 16 at Coffee Nest Cafe. This cake decorating workshop begins at 10.30am, and includes a delicious coffee.
