Organised by St Joseph’s Jerilderie Parent Committee, a total of $310 was raised on the night for Ronald McDonald House Charities, which added to the $127 raised through the online fundraiser.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities mission is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.
Parent Committee member Carina Rorato said the event was a great success.
“It was a fantastic night had by all for a wonderful cause,” she said.
“The event was open to all primary aged students and it was great to see so many from a variety of schools attend.
“The children enjoyed participating in a variety of dances including the Nutbush and Limbo.”
The kids also enjoyed the photo booth with lots of props, prizes and food stall which were available on the night.
A special thank you was extended to local community group MAKATAK who donated the disco decorations and prizes, which the kids enjoyed thoroughly.
