The Finley High School student has been named at the Murray Hut Country Women’s Association’s 2025 scholarship winner.
Murray Hut CWA president Sue Escott Braybon said she was chosen from an “exceptionally strong field of applicants”, with the selection panel praising the calibre, commitment, and community spirit demonstrated by all candidates.
“Chlesea stood out for her dedication to her studies, her involvement in school and community activities, and her clear sense of purpose as she prepares to embark on her tertiary education journey,” she said.
"Chelsea is an impressive young woman with a bright future ahead.
“Her enthusiasm for primary teaching and her dedication to her community reflect the values we aim to encourage through this scholarship."
Chelsea plans to study a Bachelor of Primary Education, with a strong desire to inspire and support future generations of young learners.
The Murray Hut CWA Scholarship is awarded annually to support young women in the district as they pursue their post-secondary education.
Ms Escott Braybon said the organisation remains committed to fostering educational opportunities and strengthening community connections throughout the region.
