The event, at Riverlinks Eastbank on Saturday, October 17, will showcase a variety of works under the banner of ‘Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue’.
A media release said the programme would include favourites from the past, as well as newly commissioned works from resident composers.
“The programme will celebrate and pay tribute to a 30-year milestone for GVCO, its members, its founders and its supporters,” the release said.
The annual concert is expected to be an immersive experience suitable for all ages.
“Reaching a 30-year milestone is a tremendous achievement, and we are delighted to welcome the Goulburn Valley Concert Orchestra to Riverlinks for this special celebration,” Riverlinks acting manager Peter O’Keefe said.
“This concert is a testament to the dedication of its members, founders and supporters, and highlights the important role community arts organisations play in enriching our region.”
