Mr Hart’s resignation was announced Friday last week, and is effective immediately.
Operations manager Mel Clarke has already been acting CEO for a period, and will continue in the role.
The RSL board will “consider its options for an appointment of a new manager early in the new year”.
Mr Hart joined the team at the Deniliquin RSL Club as CEO in June 2013.
He had been the secretary manager at the Temora Ex-Services Club.
His previous roles also included being operations manager at both the Brothers Leagues Club in Townsville (Queensland) and Yass Soldiers’ Club (NSW).
As a qualified chef, Mr Hart’s contributions to the Deniliquin RSL Club included the Christmas Day luncheons with edible food sculptures.
Mr Hart was also actively involved as a bowler with the Deniliquin RSL Bowling Club during his time at the club, claiming some club titles in the last 10 years.
As CEO, Mr Hart led the Deniliquin RSL Club team which took over organisation and management of the Deniliquin Fishing Classic, which has since folded, and oversaw the club’s acquisition of the Deniliquin Taxi Service.
He also managed and oversaw board approved renovations at the club.
This included the demolition of the tennis courts, the reconstruction of the main car park and the installation of a solar panel scheme in the car park to power the club.
Electric vehicle chargers were also installed as part of the car park project.
