The gala will be more than a celebration, it will be a showcase of change makers and a commitment to the future of regional leadership.
For 30 years, GMCL’s Fairley Leadership Program has empowered more than 745 leaders who now serve across government, health, agriculture, education, small business and community organisations.
These alumni continue to shape the Goulburn Murray region through collaboration, governance and community action and now serve on boards, lead businesses, head up community organisations and contribute to regional decision-making.
Executive officer Jesse Mitchell said the gala recognises both the legacy and the future of leadership in the region.
“This event is about celebrating the collective impact of our alumni, as well as past board members, sponsors and supporters, who continue to strengthen our communities,’’ she said.
‘’It is also about ensuring the next generation of leaders have the opportunity to step forward.

“Strong communities rely on strong, connected leaders.
‘’The gala allows us to acknowledge that legacy while raising funds to continue to deliver programs that equip leaders across our region.”
Proceeds from the event will support program sustainability, ensuring that passionate and capable community members can access leadership development.
The Fairley Leadership Program develops high-achieving regional leaders across industry, community and public sectors — equipping them with the skills, networks and confidence to lead beyond their role, their organisation and their moment.

Local businesses, organisations and community members are encouraged to attend, sponsor or contribute to the event to support regional resilience, collaboration and long-term impact.
