Special football jumpers have been supplied to the players to acknowledge the contribution of service personnel, past and present, to give us the freedom we have today.
At about 5.50pm, the match between Finley and Mulwala will pause for a short service to recognise the significance of Anzac Day, including a flyover which has been organised to take place.
The FFNC executive would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have and continue to support the club, with special mention of the many sponsors, without whom the club would not be able to operate.

Anzac Day 2026 is fast approaching, and members of the Finley RSL Sub-branch would like to advise arrangements for services on Saturday, April 25.
For the Dawn Service, members of the public are asked to form up at the Finley Memorial Park at 5.50am for the service to start at 6am.
An invitation is extended to those attending the service to then join members of the sub-branch for the traditional ‘Gunfire Breakfast’ at the Finley RS Club.
A gold coin donation would be appreciated.
With the Anzac Day march and service, those participating in the march are asked to form up at the corner of Ulupna and Murray Sts at 10.15am in preparation to move off at 10.45am.
On completion of the service at Finley Memorial Park, all veterans and their families are invited to the Finley RS Club for light refreshments.
Further information can be obtained by contacting Don McKellar from the Finley RSL Sub-branch on 0467 774 516.

The jeeps which have been supplied for many years by Bob Bevan, assisted by his brother Ken, for Anzac Day marches in Finley and surrounding communities have begun to arrive in town.
Ken made a special trip to Lavington recently to pick up the first one, with more to come in the lead up to Anzac Day.

In the lead up to Anzac Day, members of the Finley RSL Sub-branch will be stationed at Finley IGA on April 20, 21, 22 and 23 selling badges and memorabilia, as well as tickets in the raffle to be drawn at the street stall which will be held on Friday, April 24.
Donations of cakes and other saleable goods for the street stall would be greatly appreciated, and the organisers are looking forward to the usual generous support of the Finley and surrounding communities.
Sincere thanks to management of Finley IGA, who continue to support the Finley RSL Sub-branch and all other organisations in the local area.

Just a reminder that the St Vincent de Paul Society donation bins at the local drop off point at the Finley Catholic Church have closed until further notice.
This is due to the extraordinary cost involved with the trucks coming from Lavington to collect the donations.
The St Vincent de Paul team requests that no donations be left outside the bins for now.
