The Kyabram Yarn Bombers decorate Allan St every Christmas with an explosion of colour from top to toe, leaving no tree without a fresh coat of colourful yarn.
However, over the weekend, Yarn Bombers co-ordinator Trish Worsfold discovered her yarn art that decorated a tree on Union St was missing.
She is concerned it may have been stolen.

“It’s disappointing to see that someone, with little respect for people or property, has removed the main artwork from the tree outside Australia Post,” she said.
“These pieces are created by volunteers, to bring colour, creativity and joy to our CBD for everyone to enjoy.”
The artwork represented countless hours of craftsmanship by Ms Worsfold and her friend.
Ms Worsfold said she didn’t want to get anyone in trouble, she only wanted her work returned safely and in one piece.
While security cameras captured the incident, Ms Worsfold emphasised that returning the artwork quietly would resolve the matter without any consequences for the person involved.
“Before any camera footage is examined I would urge the person to leave the piece at Australia Post, at the Blue Brick Hotel or at the base of the tree, as soon as possible,” she said.
