The first Blighty Beehive Morning was held at a Mother’s Day event earlier this month.
There was a wonderful turn out, with families, community members, students and staff gathering to celebrate.
There was also time for craft, playing in the sandpit and morning tea.
Blighty Beehive was established as Blighty Public School staff could see the need to assist and support parents, families and their children to social and engage with other families within the area.
Blighty Beehive will be held regularly, on Monday mornings from 9.30am to 11am.
All parents and grandparents are welcome to come along, whether your child is at school or at home, to socialise and connect with other families in the area.
There will be stories, craft and a lot of fun to be had.
There is one more Blighty Beehive Morning scheduled for this school term, on Monday, June 23.
“We look forward to meeting with many familiar and new faces,” the school said.
