From 5pm, the main street will be closed to traffic, transforming into a bustling hub of stalls, entertainment, and community spirit.
Activities kick off at 5.30pm, with highlights including market and food stalls, raffles, a spinning wheel, late-night trading, and a barbecue.
Families can look forward to kids’ entertainment such as face painting and outdoor games, while the Cobram Pipe Band and other live performers will provide music throughout the evening.
The Berrigan Rural Fire Service will showcase a fire truck, and the night’s most anticipated guest, Santa Claus himself, will make a special appearance to delight children and families.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the alcohol ban will be lifted along the main street for the evening, encouraging locals and visitors to mingle and enjoy the celebrations.
Various community organisations will also use the event to raise funds, ensuring the night benefits the town well beyond the festivities.
The ever popular Christmas Carols will also feature, making the markets that little bit more festive.
If you are interested in having a stall at the markets, it’s not too late. To find out more, get in contact at mail@dawmac.com.au.
