Last week we reported on a visit and donation to Finley Public School by the 2025 Bomaderry to Blacktown Variety Bash.
In the days that followed, the Queensland Variety Bash rolled into the region, bringing their trademark colour, music and community spirit to Jerilderie Public School.
Students and staff welcomed the lively procession of uniquely decorated cars, each showcasing creativity and personality.
Students got to enjoy having their faces painted from the Bashers.
In their short but memorable visit, Bash participants made instant connections with students — sharing laughs, music, and even a few friendly water fights.
The atmosphere was electric, with car horns, music and laughter filling the air as students explored the incredible vehicle designs and chatted with drivers and crew.
“The Queensland Variety Bash brought so much joy and colour to our school,” principal Laura Keech said.
“It was a wonderful reminder of how community events can create such strong, positive connections for our students.”
Both Variety Bash rallies finished up last week.
