While the school is based across the border, the Southern Riverina community has had a long association with it.
And that continues today, with two local students on the leadership team for 2025/2026.
Tocumwal’s Olivia Thompson holds the portfolio of Anglican identity, and Berrigan’s Miley Driscoll serves in the role of ‘student voice’.
Both said they have enjoyed being part of the school community, and look forward to shaping an even better future for their fellow students in their elected roles.
“I’m excited to work alongside the other captains to make Cobram AGS an even better place than what it already is,” Miley said.
“I feel honoured to be following in the footsteps of past captains, and continue to lead the school. It’s something new and exciting, and I am very keen to make 2026 a fantastic school year,” she continued.
“I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity my school has given me to make a positive impact on the school and community,” Olivia added.

It was in 2000 that Cobram Anglican Grammar School, formerly Christ the King Anglican College, opened its doors.
Then, it was run by a team of three teachers, one administrative staff member and principal Andrew Williams.
In those days, a single building, which operated as the principal’s office, library, staffroom and two classrooms, was the pillar of the school.
Five years later, the first students completed their VCE and 10 years on, the current library and junior school blocks were constructed.
After 25 years, the school has become a flourishing campus operating on Anglican values.
This journey will be celebrated with a special function on Saturday, November 29 at the school campus on Cambell Rd, Cobram.
Running from 11am to 3pm, there will be a Eucharist service and speakers, raffles, school documentary and photo displays, games, interactive activities and more.
There will be various catering options, including a community barbecue lunch.
