A Sydney police constable allegedly caused danger with his gun and threatened new recruits.

The officer, aged 29, allegedly threatened two probationary constables in May at Day St in Sydney, NSW Police said on Saturday.
After an internal investigation, the constable was charged on Friday with four offences: common assault, intimidation, causing danger with firearm, and neglect of duty.
He's due to face Downing Centre Local Court on January 18.
