A battle of the Aussie superstar captains has been won by Sophie Molineux as her Southern Brave overcame Ellyse Perry's Birmingham Phoenix by 24 runs in the Hundred at Southampton.

Perry was undefeated on 16 as Phoenix fell short of the winning post, with Australia captain Molineux taking two wickets.
Molineux had earlier made eight not out as Brave reached 3-140, with another Aussie, Alana King, taking 1-23. Phoenix ran out of balls after reaching 5-116.
Brave's openers, Maia Boucher and Lizelle Lee, made an excellent start. Alice Capsey dismissed New Zealand batter Lee for 43 but only after she smashed two sixes in a fine 28-ball innings.
England opener Boucher made 45 before Jemimah Rodrigues hit a rapid 28 to ensure Brave set 141 for victory.
Davina Perrin, an England hopeful who struck 52, and Tammy Beaumont put on 73 for the first wicket to help Phoenix start strongly in reply, but the latter was out for 22.
When Perrin, who struck a hundred in last year's eliminator, was out to Sarah Glenn for 52, Phoenix struggled to keep up with the run-rate.
