The Dockers sit three games clear on top of the ladder with a 17-2 record, meaning they have already matched their previous best home-and-away win count of 17-5 set in 2015.
Fremantle have the chance to smash through that and extend it further over the coming weeks, with games against Melbourne (MCG), Adelaide (home) and Carlton (Marvel) to come.
That is on top of the Dockers winning 14 games in a row earlier this season, which far surpassed the previous record of nine.
With a record season up for grabs on Friday night, Longmuir could be forgiven for letting his mind momentarily wander, but the seventh-year coach insists it hasn't even crossed his mind.
"I haven't thought about it at all," Longmuir said.
"You should know me by now. I don't really get caught up in those things.
"I'm more just trying to improve our footy. Maybe I'll reflect on it at the end of the season, but it doesn't really mean much at the moment."
Star Fremantle forward Josh Treacy will notch his 100-game milestone on Friday night.
It's a big achievement for a player who had to fight his way onto an AFL list via the 2020 rookie draft.
Treacy made the most of his chance, and is now renowned as one of the hardest working players at the club.
"He was this country boy, came in off COVID, probably wasn't in all the (development) squads that some of the other guys were in," Longmuir said.
"So he probably had a little bit more to learn.
"But it's been a remarkable transformation into one of our most professional, hardworking players, and he sets a great example for those around him.
Treacy has already kicked 45 goals this season - equalling his previous best - and is on track to crack 50 for the first time and snare a maiden All-Australian berth.
"He's one of the more physical players in the comp, but he has a lot of class to go with it as well," Longmuir said.
"I just love the way he values all phases of the game.
"He's amazing in the contest, but he chases and harasses the opposition as well as anyone in our forward line, and clearly the offensive side of the game looks after itself."
Fremantle have been bolstered by the return of Hayden Young (illness), but Brennan Cox will miss another week with a knee niggle.
The Bulldogs (12-7) have rested forwards Aaron Naughton and Cody Weightman, opening the door for Louis Emmett and Laith Vandermeer to come into the side.
