The Saints worked hard all game but really came out firing in the third quarter, with some great passages of play and fantastic defensive pressure all the way down the court.
The Berrigan goalies shot well all day and the team played well together, which is something that has been lacking this year.

Berrigan had a great win to welcome coach Nat Ferguson back into the country after her short three week vacation. A close first quarter saw one goal separating the two sides.
A quick regroup and a couple of demands made and words of encouragement and the Saints began their stride.
Berrigan sealed the game in the third with a 17-goal term, after bringing young Dana Karakai into the ring, shooting 11 of those goals, with Bec Ware also strong in attack.
Maddy Loats was dangerous through the middle, taking some crucial intercepts and an impressive Rachel Head and Emily Ryan were a brick wall in defence.

It was a dominant win for the ladder leading C grade Saints. A lot of work went into defensive structures down the court making it very difficult for Blighty to move the ball and allowing the Saints to make good intercepts.

Berrigan’s C reserve had a tough game this week and were lucky to come away with a win. A flat first quarter almost cost the Saints the game, but they progressively improved over the four quarters.

The Under 15s Saints came up against a tall and strong side. Not playing to their ability Berrigan let the game get away.

The Under 13s Saints were competitive and fought hard against a strong and skillful Blighty.
The Saints came within four goals of the undefeated Redeyes late in the match, and although it was a loss Berrigan are continuing to step up and deserve to have the confidence they are gaining each week.

The U11s Saints had a cracker of a start showing smooth, smart netball, looking and passing into the space as well as chasing every loose ball. Awards: Rosie Phillips, Abbi Ferguson, Lucy Pyle, Gracie Rice.
