Finley Lake restocked

He said in about two to three weeks 1000 yellow belly fingerlings will be added to the Finley Lake.

Mr Hayden said adding the cod was about providing a fishing opportunity to the locals.

‘‘This is about community, and the fish are good for the eco system of the lake.

‘‘There are heaps of people who fish in the lake and release the fish they catch.’’

He said the cod and yellow belly are released into the lake each year.
