Tatura Senior Citizens wrap up for 2019

By Morgan Dyer

We hope you all had a very merry Christmas and have a safe and happy new year.

In our final wrap-up of the year we would like to thank a few special people that make our outstanding club what it is.

Firstly ‘The Chief’, our president Veronica, and her band of helpers who are always there to lend a hand and help organise our fun days out.

Their tireless fundraising allows the club to have subsidised trips throughout the year.

Morrie and Jan need a big thank you for their contribution to our club's Saturday lunches.

John H and Morrie S's endless list of jobs never goes unnoticed, so a big thank you for your constant handiwork.

A big shout out to the people who donate prizes to the raffles, including the Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas prize draws.

To the members who selflessly help set up our functions — your commitment is greatly appreciated and our events would not be possible without your efforts.

The same goes for all the members who contribute to our meetings and Wednesday lunches.

We would like to thank Shepparton News for publishing our notes — not only does it help get the message out, it assists in retaining and attracting members.

A small bird wrote on the bottom of the notes a big thank you to Bob for his endless support of the club and its members.

Tatura Senior Citizens looks forward to welcoming old and new members on the return date of Wednesday, January 29.
