With a few injuries, we had quite a mix of A and B girls playing against Deni.
The girls adapted well and fought hard until the end.
We had some excellent passages of play and great consistency in both defence and attack.

The Saints faced a very strong opposition.
Every player left everything they had out on the court, kept their heads up and fought until the final whistle.
The players look forward to the bye and being ready to go again with some fresher legs.

Under-17s: Berrigan 31 def by Deni Rovers 42.
A tight tussle, but we couldn’t quite finish the full four quarters and capitalise when pressure was on.
Plenty of great passages of play and a very consistent 12 goal opening term set the Saints up well heading into the break, however a slump in the second and third gave Deni the inside passage they needed.
Despite that, the young and new side regrouped in the last out, scoring Deni nine goals to five, going down by 11 at final whistle.
Lessons were learned and wisdom was gained, meaning we set some solid intentions moving into the bye and we’re ready to rumble when we host Picola at home.
Awards: Gracie Rice, Lucy Pyle, Princess Arcataris.
Under-15s: Berrigan 8 def by Deni Rovers 54.
A tough game. Thanks to Maddison Keel for filling in and playing an amazing game, keeping up the effort all four quarters.

Another tough week against another strong side, but the girls kept fighting and came away with a new high score of five goals, all in the last quarter.
