The Deniliquin Rams had a convincing win against Nathalia at the weekend, finishing with a 65-point deficit.

Coach Ash Morris said it was pleasing to see the side bounce back from a disappointing loss last week.
“It was a good performance, and really positive that we were able to get back to playing our type of footy,” he said.
“We moved the ball well and I was impressed with how with our spread.”
Morris said Lachie MacDonald and Ricky Gittens were among the best players for the day, along with Brayden Hall and Charlie Hillier.
Morris said that the side still have a lot to work on, with a tough month and a half ahead of them taking on top six teams.

The Reserves produced its best four quarter performance of the season heading into a bye, coming away with a 18.11.119 to Nathalia’s 3.3.21 win.
Full forward Hayden Barker marked everything that came to him, slotting a massive 10 goals for the day.
Brothers Jake and Darcy Mcmanus were both very solid in a variety of roles with Jake playing his first game for the season following injury.
Defenders Matt Moorse and Brett Rose were both solid in defence winning plenty of one-on-ones.
Ben East continues his run of really good form, winning plenty of hit-outs in the ruck and getting a lot of the ball around the ground.
Goalkickers included Hayden Barker 10, Darcy Mcmanus 3, Ben Nisbet 3 and single goal kickers Bailey Townsend and James Bradford.
Final score: Rams 18.11 (119) to Nathalia 3.3 (21).
In what was labelled a ‘season defining’ game for the Deni thirds boys the clash certainly lived up to the expectation.
The boys started slowly allowing higher placed Nathalia to slot the first three goals four points of the game.
A late goal from Leiper on the run gave the boys some hope at the quarter break.
Some great defensive play lead by king kept the margin level in the second quarter.
Park was instrumental in the middle winning plenty of taps and finding Moorse on the wing gave the team plenty of run into the attacking end, Moorse also slotting his first goal for the year.
Bottom age player Herberte provided plenty of options playing both ends of the ground and in the middle in his best game of the year.
To the boys credit they stayed focussed, kept their heads up, played team footy and came away with a well earned win for their efforts.

In the fourths, Deniliquin hosted Nathalia this week for their round seven clash, and after a good week on the track the Deniliquin boys were ready for a tough test.
The young Rams controlled possession without putting it on the scoreboard during the first quarter.
The second quarter saw the Rams get some reward taking a four goal lead to half-time. The second half became a close contest after the rain came but lead well by captain Sam Crossley and the backline who were rock solid all day, the Rams had a solid win by 40 points.
Best players: Sam Crossley, Oscar Wren, Matt Pitt, Rory Smith, Jai Park and Jack Sander.
Final score: Rams 7.6 (48) to Nathalia 0.4 (4).
The Deni Rams under-12s travelled to Echuca on Friday for their first and only night match for the season.
It was a fantastic experience and all the boys were super excited to play at night, but sadly they didn't get the win.
Deni were in the lead for the first half with Ollie Murray and Tynen Rothe each scoring a goal, however in the second half Echuca started to capitalise on their shots at goal and took the lead, finishing the game seven points in front.
