What a great day we had playing in a pink dress to raise funds for breast cancer research.
The team produced some excellent passages of play, particularly when moving the ball quickly through the court and maintaining patience in our attack.
Defensively, the players contested strongly and showed resilience against a strong Deni team.
In each game, the pink ball was presented to one player.

From the first whistle, our intensity was fantastic. We worked hard defensively from attack through to defence, which created many turnovers.
This match proved that we can compete with the stronger teams. The effort, attitude and teamwork which was displayed during this game was fantastic.

It was a solid team performance, where everyone played their role.

It was a tight tussle for all four quarters.
All players fought hard, and it was an amazing team effort. We just couldn’t pull away and secure the win.

Under-15s: Finley 29 def Deni 28.
The Finley under-15s clocked an impressive win against Deniliquin, taking the lead in the dying minutes.
Marlee Simpson earned best on court honours after a standout performance through the midcourt, consistently winning crucial possessions and helping drive the ball forward.
Amera Mohamed showed her willingness to take on feedback throughout the game, working hard to implement changes and continually improving her impact on the court.
Sienna Keely also received an award for her outstanding team spirit.

Unfortunately, the girls went down this week, but showed outstanding teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.
They kept their heads up, supported each other, and continued to play with enthusiasm and enjoyment until the final whistle.
