It wasn’t Jerilderie’s day in the shooting end, with a few key missed opportunities.
Nevertheless, the whole team kept level headed and pushed through. The score was equal at quarter time and down by one at half time.
BOC Jerilderie Grain and Storage winner Ella Arnold, assisted Amy Perry (Laura’s Beauty Voucher) in the defence to display another strong game with shooters becoming unsettled.
Ellie Marshall was working hard against talented Katy defenders to take home Colony Inn vouchers.
B-grade: Jerilderie 15 def by Katamatite 46.
Unfortunately not the way we wanted to finish our season, however very proud of our side.
BOC (Cotton Seed Distributors) winner Storm Mulham played a cracking game, giving it 110 per cent in WA and mixing it up in GD.
Mia Neessen (Colleambly Community Bank) played a great game in WD and C, with strong drives and defence through the mid court.
Meagan Mauger (Colony Inn) put up a hard fight in GK, putting great amount of pressure onto the oppositions shooters.
Meagan also put the GS bib on in the last quarter, giving strong direction down the attacking end.
C-grade: Jerilderie 41 def by Katamatite 53.
C-grade gave it their all again this week to push Katy all the way.
Awards: Colony Inn BOC - Katie Wilkinson; Laura’s Beauty pack - Heidi Bryce; Jerilderie Earthworks - Carina Rorato.
While we didn't make finals, this group should be very proud of their efforts this season.
C-reserve: Jerilderie 37 def Katamatite 27.
C-res found a way to win after Katy hit the court running.
The side really fought their way through the challenges presented to come out 10-goal winners.
Awards: Colony BOC - Tiff Sutton; Jerilderie Muscle Therapy - Sarah Gurcillio; Lawton Spraying - Laura Ham.
Under-15s: Jerilderie 39 def Katamatite 11.
The under-15s are looking good heading into the finals series. They played very well as a team.
Shikaya Hall (Magic Scissors) continues to improve each week gaining many rebounds.
Miley and Montana (Mungos repairs) put pressure on opponents to get plenty of turnovers.
Jess Wilkinson (Colony Inn) Chelsea and Katie were strong in attack and Ruby played well above her age in the centre.
Under-13s: Jerilderie 18 def Katamatite 14.
Another great win for the team to finish the season on a high note.
The under-13s have improved so much over the second half of the year, individually and as a team.
They all shared the awards this week. Thank you to Jerilderie Tyre Service, Jerilderie Newsagency and Colony Inn for giving out awards each week.
