Only one more Saturday game separates the teams from the big gala day on August 17 at 9am.
‘‘With our Miniroos matches concluding on August 10, our focus then shifts to the Gala Day tournament,’’ said Cobram Junior Soccer Association President, Mario Pardo.
‘‘On the day our mixed U9, U11, U13 and U11 girls’ competition teams from Cobram, Finley and Yarrawonga will vie for the championship.
‘‘Our Saturday matches and weekly training sessions have been really successful in developing player skills and confidence, and Gala Day is the perfect opportunity to show off these skills in front of friends and family.’’
The day well be held at Apex Reserve Cobram with the hole day formatted for teams to play in a round robin style competition.
The top placed teams in each pool progressing to the knock-out final stages.
‘‘Gala Day is a lot of fun, and we’d encourage anyone interested in playing next year to come along and see what the competition is all about,’’ Pardo said.
