On Thursday, November 13, Pyalong Primary was announced as one of 46 schools across the state to share in $22.5 million in the seventh round of program funding announced this year.
Including this round, the program has funded $128.8 million for 368 projects at 320 schools this year.
The school will use the funding to carry out essential maintenance, like drainage works, fixing roofs, replacing windows, maintaining ramps, painting, resurfacing floors and improving pathways.
State Member for Northern Victoria and Victorian Treasurer Jaclyn Symes said the program invested in the future of the state’s children.
“I’m sure students, staff and families are delighted to see Pyalong share in funding that will ensure we have the best facilities to learn in,” Ms Symes said.
“Our Planned Maintenance Program invests in our schools and the future of our kids, so they can thrive in state-of-the-art facilities.”
To support the program and fund repairs and maintenance in Victorian schools, $115.5 million has been invested in the state budget over the 2025-26 financial year.
