Nanneella National Tree Day

Helping hand: Three-year-old Meg Watson (above) was excited to assist her Rochester Primary School brothers, Bobby and Sid, at the Nanneella Estate Primary School’s National Tee Day event. There were 100 natives trees and shrubs planted.
Caring for the land: Goulburn Murray Landcare Network’s Dan Walker was the leading hand in the tree-planting exercise, which involved Nanneella’s 13 students and Rochester primary years 1 and 2 students. It is the first of two tree-planting events in Nanneella this week.
