Mary and Alan Higgins teamed up to take on James and Tony Bull, with the former pair coming out on top after a countback.
Each pair won three games and the winners prevailed by one hoop on the countback.
Sunday’s play under fine skies was enjoyed by 12 pairs.
All members who participated in the day enjoyed a sausage sizzle and good spectator croquet.
On Wednesday, Leo Barry had a cracking day with a hoop in one shot.
But it was not quite enough to get him the win.
While he shared three game honours with John James, it was John who won the day.
Two game achievers were Alan Higgins and Fred Littmann.
John made three jump shots on the day, with other single jump shots to Mary James, Alan Higgins and Brad Fawns.
Anyone who would like to play croquet is invited to come along any Wednesday or Sunday morning. Mallets are available for you to use.
The club is also seeking potential pennant players for the spring competition, commencing in August. Deni hopes to enter two teams.
