The competition aims to showcase the most outstanding and imaginative shots captured around the shire.
Campaspe Shire Deputy Mayor Colleen Gates said the calendar photo competition was always a popular contest.
“We love seeing how creative our local professional and amateur photographers can be,” Cr Gates said.
Once the winning photographs are selected, members of the public can vote for what they think should be the calendar cover photo via council’s Facebook page.
The image chosen to be the cover photo will also feature as one of the monthly photos inside the calendar.
Up to five photos can be entered per person, with each winning entry receiving $50, a calendar and bragging rights for an entire year.
Photos must be taken within Campaspe Shire, must be of high quality and are required to be taken in landscape orientation.
Images from the competition could also feature in promotional publications, council reports and on social media posts.
Entries are being accepted until Friday, September 30.
Applicants can register by visiting https://www.campaspe.vic.gov.au/Our-council/Now-open/MyCampaspe-photo-competition
The calendar is free to all Campaspe residents and will become available later in the year.
