Well, your in luck. The Cobram Lions annual Christmas fundraiser has begun with Christmas cakes and puddings available for purchase all over town.
Cobram Lions chair Janet Austin said the money raised will go back into the community where it is needed.
“The money we raise goes back into Cobram for different things,” she said.
“We’ve got school scholarships that we hand out or awards at presentation night and various donations around town.”
The cakes are available at a variety of stores including the Cobram Newsagents, Artavilla emporium, Mitre10, the Grand Central Hotel and many more.
They also come in various sizes, with the puddings ranging from 900g to 400g and the cakes from 1.5kg to miniature.
“They're available, they're good value, and they’re very nice,” Ms Austin said.
“I’ve still got to go and get mine.”
The Cobram Lions also have a variety of exciting events on later this month including the public speaking competition, ‘Youth Of the Year’ at Killara House on November 22.
The annual family-friendly market is also set for November 29 at Federation park.
