There have been two further cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District taking the total number of positive COVID-19 results to 42.
The two new cases are both in the Berrigan Shire local government area, taking the total cases in Berrigan to 5.
The 42 cases excludes one resident of Victoria who was isolating in NSW.
UPDATE: Friday, April 3
A Coronavirus death has been recorded in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
A 74 year-old woman from Albury succumbed to the virus after contracting it overseas.
Latest figures released this morning show no increase on the three cases reported in the Berrigan Shire as of yesterday.
Only one further case of Coronavirus was recorded overnight, in Wagga, bringing the total positives in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District to 41.
There have been 1902 tests carried out by MLHD to date.
