The Finley Down Under Modified Tractor Pull’s enthusiastic committee has once again organised a night of exciting family entertainment and are hoping to follow up last year's event which topped over 1000 people in attendance.
Gates will open at 3.30pm with the main action from 5pm.
Event committee member Paul ‘Flippa’ Dundon said the annual tractor pull is a major event in Finley.
He said it not only contributes to the local economy and tourism appeal, it's also a fantastic recreational activity for locals.
‘‘This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever, so I encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the day,’’ Mr Dundon said.
“We will have the same format as we did last year with Down Under Modified Tractor Pull, who did an outstanding job.
“We have a few new mini tractors this year too which will be a sight to behold.
“We will also have an exiting local entry from Berrigan as Joe Cottam's Riverina Screamer will make a return to action after being out of commission for the last few years.”
The competition includes mighty modified and super grunt competitions, with the action finishing under lights.
Food stands and bar facilities will be available throughout the evening so bring along a chair and enjoy what is an event for the whole family.
Tickets are expected to be available soon. For more information phone Mr Dundon on 0427 003 674.
