With practice ramping up to perfect the routines, dance couples are starting to feel the pressure.
The Southern Riverina's own Sarah Bain, who is one of the contestants, is confident everyone will be ready in time and looking great.
"The routines are going well, and we're getting into the nitty gritty parts of the dances," she said.
"We're already dancing in our shoes for the night and are about to start practising in the whole outfit to get used to them."
Each of the five couples will perform a signature dance, before the whole dancing crew come together for a group dance.
"We are working with and getting in time together, and working on our entrances," Mrs Bain said.
"The challenge has been in dancing to the same beat at the same time."
The five couples will go head-to-head and toe-to-toe in the most anticipated dance competition of the year on Saturday, August 17.
Mrs Bain is teamed up with apprentice baker Simi Naicori and will be looking to cook something up on the dance floor to sell their routine to the judges.
Senior business home lending specialist and agricultural pilot Mark Sutherland aim to fly straight to the top prize by strutting their stuff on the dance floor.
Hospitality and textiles teacher Jenny Philpot and hotel licensee Rick Shaw have stitched together an entertaining performance.
Concreter and bricklayer Sam Price will lay the building blocks for a dance routine and, with dental assistant Abbey Breust, leave the audience smiling.
And together law clerk Karen Donkin and mechanic Craig Hendy will be running smoothly on the dance floor.
As well as being a night of great fun and entertainment, the annual Dancing with the Stars event is the major fundraiser for Biralee Preschool.
