Nominations for the 2019 Moira Business Excellence Awards have opened.

The 2019 Moira Business Excellence Awards will be held on Friday, March 29 at the Cobram Civic Centre and will include a number of new and revised categories.

The event recognises success and excellence in local business with the following 10 award categories;

1. Young Business Person, Apprentice or Trainee of the Year

2. Excellence in Customer Service

3. Excellence in Retail

4. Excellence in Industry/Manufacturing

5. Excellence in Agriculture and Primary Production 

6. Best New Business 

7. Excellence in Commercial & Professional Business Services

8. Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality

9. Excellence in Sustainability

10. Champion of Business.

Winner of the Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality at the 2017 awards, Deb North from Yarrawonga’s popular Aquazone @ Lake Mulwala, urges businesses to nominate for next year’s awards.

“If you are passionate about what you do, what you bring, and the team behind you that makes it happen then take a moment to nominate your business today,” Deb said.
