A promising start to the game was in order and that’s exactly what coach David Bate got with the Bloods having plenty of the ball in the early stages.
Unfortunately Tocumwal were unable to convert the possession into goals.

The Bloods continued to have plenty of the ball throughout the game but they were punished by the Tigers as soon as they turned it over.
Tocumwal’s midfield battled hard all day and gave their teammates a lot of the ball, but skill errors and poor decision making prevented them from converting to goal, finishing with an inaccurate 2.9.

Tocumwal’s reserves scored their second win of the season with a 12 point victory over the Tigers.
After trailing at quarter time by nine points, the Bloods turned things around over the remaining three quarters leading at the end of the second and never looking back in what was a low scoring affair.

Tocumwal’s thirds showed their dominance on Saturday with an emphatic 179 point win.

Tocumwal’s midfielders were exceptional with an awesome balance across the forward flanks.
The Bloods’ backline was strong in defence with goals hard to come by for the opposition.
