A Holden Captiva and Ford Territory were both discovered on May 13 during draining works at the canal.

Enquires are continuing about the Ford Territory, however police believe it’s also stolen.
Multiple charges
A 28 year-old Queensland man has been charged with five separate offences relating to assault, attempted theft, malicious damage, trespassing and offensive behaviour while trespassing in Tocumwal last week.
Police were called by multiple people who allege to have had run-ins with the man over a short period of time on Wednesday.
He is first alleged to have gone to a Berrigan Shire Council work site at Deniliquin Rd and Anzac Ave at about 7.40am, and reportedly tried to leave with some shire equipment.
When approached by the site surveyor to give the items back, a verbal altercation ensued.
The Queensland man is alleged to have purposely dropped the equipment on cement, causing significant damage.
He then reportedly fled the site and into the rear of a Tocumwal hotel through a gap in the fence, where he was found by the publican about 8.50am.
When asked to leave by the publican, who reports the man tried to tell him he owned the hotel, the man reportedly became aggressive and starting swinging punches. Police confirmed that while no contact was made with the publican during this time, the incident is still a form of assault.
After a passer-by came to the publican’s assistance, the man had fled but was soon found by police and arrested.
