Pirates want a new look

By Riverine Herald

This past season was the Echuca Pirates’ best in a while.

Two wins doesn’t look great, but all who watched the side could see that they were getting better.

They gave multiple sides headaches during the year, and it was clear that they are improving rapidly.

This season is shaping up to be a great one.

And the team is looking to get even better.

In the first three weeks of July, the Pirates will be holding open tryouts at Echuca Stadium between 7:30pm and 9pm.

But this won’t be the only way for the public to get involved in the Pirates’ season.

The club is looking for a facelift for 2018-19, and are opening the floor to the community.

A competition is being held to design a new Pirates logo.

Cash prizes will be on offer to the the winning entrant.

All entries can be submitted to the Echuca Basketball Association.
