The council has said its newest allocation of Stronger Council Communities Funding could potentially complete ongoing works at the Berrigan Sports Ground, Berrigan War Memorial Swimming Pool and the installation of new light at all shire sportsgrounds.
A portion of its $786,309 allocation may also be used to progress the creation of the Barooga Adventure Playground.
Community members are invited to submit other projects for consideration as well.
General manager Rowan Perkins said while there have been no concrete decisions on what projects will be pursued, he said council wanted to suggest a few projects "we already have on the books".
"The Barooga Adventure Park obviously still has some significant work left to do.
"Less so with the two parks (Berrigan Sports ground scoreboard upgrade and an upgrade to ancillary facilities at the Berrigan War Memorial swimming pool) in Berrigan, which still need work but are in the final stages.
"The LED lighting project is a pretty big project in it's own right, depending on what exactly has to be done. But again we'd like to finish that off.
"For all projects except for the Barooga adventure park, the Stronger Country Communities Fund would see those projects complete."
Councils have received a stipulation with this round of funding that at least 50 per cent must be spent on youth related projects.
Mr Perkins said all four suggested projects from the council meet that criteria, and particularly the LED lighting project.
"We see it as a project that can actually translate into both service improvement and direct cost savings for the recreation reserves," he said.
"It's about putting new lights at all the netball courts and football grounds."
Community submissions for projects will close at 5pm on September 27.
"Anyone can put in whatever they like and they'll run their course on the application process," Mr Perkins said.
Successful projects are expected to be announced in January 2020. All projects must be approved by the NSW Government.
