A flowing wedding in Toc.

Tocumwal's Josie Thomas and Seymour's Scott Williams tied the knot just before the Coronavirus restrictions.Married on Saturday March 7, the newlyweds hosted 110 family and friends under the gumtrees of Josie's parents Steve and Denise Thomas’ garden. The couple have been together for more than 10 years.Josie’s sister Angie Thomas was maid of honour and bridesmaids were Carley Thomas and Madelin Brooks.Scott's best man was Brendan Renfrey and his groomsmen were Matthew Jennings and Aaron Vague.Josie had four flower girls, Jemma, Josie, Ella and Georgie Coombs.“I promised them 10 years ago that if I got married, they'd be my flower girls,” Josie said.Josie arrived in her father’s Pontiac and was walked down the aisle by both parents and donned a Grace Loves Lace dress. The couple sourced everything for their wedding from local businesses, including Finley Party Hire, Hen’s Teeth Trading, Smoking Goods Barbeque, Toni’s Cakes, Wren’s Floralista and Meg Gibbs Photography, with music by Alex Weybury.Josie and Scott travelled to Sri Lanka and the Maldives for their honeymoon before Coronavirus restrictions were imposed. The newlyweds were grateful to celebrate their wedding in perfect sunshine between two days of torrential rain and Coronavirus restrictions being imposed.“It was so nice having people travel interstate to Tocumwal for the wedding, we had torrential rain in the three days leading up to the special day but on the day we had perfect weather,” Josie said.“I want to thank everyone for making it such a wonderful day that we will cherish forever.”The newlyweds are living in Melbourne.
