The council is now calling on community members to vote for the projects they would like to see prioritised.
Berrigan Shire Council has been allocated $786,309 in round three.
Shortlisted projects are:
Hayes Park, Berrigan – to establish interpretative signage celebrating Berrigan’s firsts - including the town having the first established Rural Fire Service and P&C - an upgrade of toilets, installation of a new shelter, and the upgrade of paths and access to Berrigan Skate Park.
Apex Park, Berrigan – proposed works which include relocation of existing play equipment, upgrade of Shelter and associated furniture, new park furniture, improved disability access and fencing.
LED Lighting - to be installed at the Berrigan Sports Ground, Finley Recreation Reserve, Tocumwal Recreation Reserve and Barooga Recreation Reserve with the intention of reducing electricity usage and improve lighting at each venue.
Barooga Adventure Park final stage - to upgrade existing amenities, improve parking and the integration of the park with the Barooga library.
