Locals from across the Southern Riverina are invited to improve their fitness for a good cause.

Personal trainer Leisa Desailly has started monthly community boot camp classes in Tocumwal, with money raised from the sessions donated to local schools.

Ms Desailly’s first training session was in April, where she raised $145 for Tocumwal Public School.

The boot camp classes are held on the last Sunday of every month and are a great way for families to exercise together, according to the personal trainer.

‘‘We all live busy lifestyles and sometimes we don’t have time to worry about our fitness,’’ she said.

‘‘Everyone is welcome and families can exercise together and I guarantee it’s a lot of fun.

‘‘The sessions are easy for all ages, although you will work up a sweat.’’

The cost is $5 per person and $10 per family and the next session will be at the Tocumwal Public School grounds this Sunday.

All money raised from the sessions will be donated to Tocumwal Preschool, Tocumwal Public School and Sacred Heart School.
