A 36 year-old Victorian woman has had her driver’s licence suspended pending a court appearance, after allegedly returning a blood alcohol reading that was six times the legal limit.

Police allege the woman recorded a reading of 0.323 at Tocumwal Police Station on Friday evening.

The driver had been involved in a car crash on Golf Course Rd, Barooga about 6.35pm, according to police.

Her car reportedly veered to the wrong side of the road before crashing down an embankment and into tree, police said. Police allege the car was unregistered.

The driver is expected to appear in Finley Court next month.
