Jerilderie defender Ally Barlow leaping to pressure a Mathoura shooter in the Under 13s.

Jerilderie’s A grade had a triumphant win against Mathoura, victorious by 37 goals in Jerilderie on Saturday.

The Dees showed a great display of their team capabilities and will look to bring that in to their final match of the year against Strathmerton.

Final score, Jerilderie 69 to Mathoura 32.

In B grade Jerilderie were unable to overcome second placed Mathoura, going down 53 to 33.

In C grade it was a tremendous game played by the Dees, holding their composure to ensure they took the six goal win.

Final score, Jerilderie 39 to Mathoura 33.

Each of the seven players contributed to the win and made it hard to choose awards.

Sally Simpson was outstanding in defence and earned herself the Lawton Ag Spraying BOC, Tiffany Sutton received the JNC award for her feeds into the goal circle, Tanya Bradford took home the Colony Inn award for her efforts in defence, and the ever reliable Loretta Walker the Jerilderie Sports Club award.

Jerilderie’s Under 17s team had another stellar win to improve their unbeaten run to 14 wins.

With just one game to go this season, the Dees look set to finish as undefeated minor premiers.

Final score, Jerilderie 43 to Mathoura 29.

The Lawton Earthworks award went to Phoebe Aitken, proving she can play anywhere on the court.

Colony Inn award was won by Olivia Mauger, who played well in the mid-court.

The Magic Scissors award was earnt by Lauren Knight, who although playing in goals all game, proved to have an effect utilising her defensive skills with many interceptions.

Jerilderie’s U-13s claimed another win on the way to finals, finishing in front of Mathoura by 11 goals.

Final score, Jerilderie 24 to Mathoura 13.

Lucy Simpson is showing more confidence in the ring each week, working well with Sophie Roe.

Ally Barlow provided great drive in the mid-court and combined well with both Mia Neessen and Brigit Hamilton.

Jerilderie’s U-11s played a strong game with fantastic shooting by Abbey A’Vard and Katelyn Wilkinson.

Tori Lawton pulled in everything that came her way and was strong in defence.
