A Grade: Berrigan’s A grade started a little slow but kicked into gear half way through the first quarter, defeating fourth placed Strathmerton 49 to 44.

Defensive pressure and full court performance from everyone was fantastic, ending in the desired result to finish the season with seven wins.

Awards: BNC 1st Incentive to Bec Ware, BNC 2nd Incentive went to Emma Jane Schifferle and Wingates Sports Voucher to Bianca Mohr.

B Grade: Berrigan 14 def. by Strathmerton 73.

Awards: BNC Incentive Award went to Kayla Smith, Blue Door Coffee & Cake to Temica Fitzgerald and BNC Thursday Meal to Rachel Head.

C Grade: C grade finished the home and away season strongly with an 18 goal win over Strathmerton, 56 to 38.

With only two goals difference at half time, the Berrigan girls once again took control of the second half.

Having the bye in the last round, Berrigan will be well rested coming into finals and are looking forward to facing the challenges ahead.

Awards: Dash Cash Coffee & Cake went to Emma Alexander, Phillips Family Award to Heather McCabe and Player’s Player to Emma Alexander.

Under 15s: Berrigan 22 def. Strathmerton 14.

Awards: Berrigan Takeaway Small Pizza went to Olivia O’Neil, BFC Canteen Award to Annabel Phillips, Thornton Family Award to Kayla Smith and Federal Parma to Isabel Alexander.

U-13s: Berrigan’s U-13s had a great win over Strathmerton, 22 to 7, improving on some aspects of last week’s game.

The girls moved the ball effortlessly down the court and there was an improved positive chatter amongst them for the whole four quarters.

Jennifer Ackerly continues to improve every week and is starting to move in and around the goal ring well.

Awards: IGA Award to Kiea Towler, BFNC Canteen to Regan Fox, BFC Powerade Award to Jessika Lawrenceson and Fed Parma to Jennifer Ackerly.

U-11s: What a fantastic first season for a lot of these young Berrigan netballers.

With enthusiasm and commitment shown by all girls and a willingness to have a go, wherever they are placed they will always have a place at Berrigan Netball Club.

Awards: Turner Family Award went to Layla Towler, Berrigan Pharmacy Award to Amelia Packer and Bizzy Scissors went to Jessie O’Dwyer.
