Finley man sent to Shepparton with compound fracture

A 40 year-old Finley man was taken to a Shepparton hospital with a compound fracture to his left leg after an all terrain vehicle rollover on Sunday.

Police said yesterday investigations into the crash were continuing, with the man still unable to be interviewed by police.

According to initial reports, the man was travelling on the unsealed St Leons Rd at Finley when the ATV rolled about 3.25pm Sunday.

His left leg was trapped under the roll cage, and the man was unable to free himself before State Emergency Service personnel arrived.

The Finley man was treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene, before being taken to Shepparton.
