Berrigan are one step closer to locking in a Picola League finals berth after a dominant 138 point win over home side Yarroweyah on Saturday.
The Saints started the round 13 game well with the forward line delivery especially a highlight, piling on 10 goals to two in the first term.
Scoring dropped off a bit in the second quarter, with Berrigan keeping the Hoppers scoreless while managing just four goals themselves.
After the main break the Saints regrouped and went back about their work adding 13 more goals in the second half, finishing up with 14 individual goal scorers for the day.
Berrigan’s Tom Beams was back in the thick of the action and gave sublime delivery to the forwards all day, with Tom Irvine making the most of it with seven goals.
Jake Way was again strong around the contests and was a solid contributor and Cameron Hall hit his straps, ending the day with a high tackle count for the Saints.
Mitch Beck and Matt Eales battled hard across the middle while Jye Adamson had another dangerous game for the visitors.
A highlight from the day was defenders Grant Martin (two goals) and Trent Osborne (one) sneaking into the forward line, with the former doubling his career senior goals.
For Yarroweyah it was former Saints onballer Paul Massingham who was best on ground with support from Andrew Jones (three goals), Harley Constable (one), Joe Cipriani, Lincoln Humphries and Nick Macheda.
Final score, Berrigan 27.16 (178) to Yarroweyah 5.10 (40).
Berrigan will now face sixth placed Deni Rovers in a match that could determine which side will play finals this year.
The match will start about 2pm at Berrigan Sports Ground on Saturday.
