Finley Landmark Mills held its annual in-store sale day on Friday, which saw a number of industry experts attending to answer queries and provide advice for local landholders.

Several suppliers were also set up in the Pinnuck St store to socialise and give advice to about 50 clients who turned up during the day.

The day saw representatives from Southern Wire, Gallagher, Zoetis, SJB AgNutri and CopRice attend, alongside the qualified Landmark Mills team.

Doug McLean from Landmark Mills said the day was a success, with people asking questions on a wide range of agricultural topics.

‘‘The rep from Gallagher spoke on the Westonfence range, which sparked a lot of interest,’’ Mr McLean said.

‘‘A Seed Force representative also attended and he provided information on their lucerne range for the upcoming spring.’’

Other topics of interest were crop and pasture nutrients, vaccination techniques, farm equipment, feeding livestock and fencing.

‘‘We were happy with the number of people who came in — it was a great day,’’ Mr McLean said.

‘‘It’s not about sales ... it’s about people coming in, saying g’day, having a chat and learning something new.’’
