Despite the showers on Sunday morning, a game was played at the Finley Bowling Club.

The winning team included Betty Robinson, Bob Poore and Marie Koschel.

Bowls will be held every Sunday, weather permitting.

The accumulator, for all Sunday bowlers, will commence this Sunday.

The scores simply accumulate and the players’ best five scores are considered.

St Joseph’s trivia evening resulted in a $1380 benefit for the school.

The end of the month fundraiser will be to benefit Finley Primary School.

All parents and the public are invited to support this evening. Meals are available from 6pm.

Sunday morning members draw has been won but the Friday draw still stands at $1,000.

Special birthday greetings to bowls secretary Heather Tabe, from all members and friends.

Coming events: Tomorrow - DFP, 1pm; Friday - Primary School benefit, 6pm; Sunday - DFP accumulator, 10.15am.

Raffle roster: Shiela Walsh and Ray Wood.

There was good attendance for our 2-4-2 last Tuesday which was enjoyed by all.

Winners were Noela and Allan Thomas while runners-up were Ed Walker and Effie Eaton from Tocumwal.

A jackpot card was started and didn’t go off. This will increase until it’s won.

Any bowlers who would like to join in the fun are asked to get their names in to Di Retallick of the RS Club by 11am on Tuesday morning.
