Mobile smoko service

Finley will soon have a new mobile coffee service.

Finley Coffee Beans is set to hit local streets next Wednesday, July 5.

The new venture is owned by locals Julie Maconachie and Nicky Burke, in conjunction with J&N Teapot Cafe.

‘‘We’d been thinking about the project for about six months, but we just had to find a van,’’ Julie said.

‘‘There were a lot of enquiries in Finley about smoko deliveries, and we were asked by the monthly Finley market to have a van set up there, too.’’

Operating from Wednesday to Friday, and with pre-bookings available for weekends, the van will sell coffee, cold drinks, morning tea, hot food and sandwiches right at your doorstep.

‘‘We can come to your business, group function or weekend events, such as sports and markets,’’ Julie said.

To grab your own hot coffee or sweet treat, you can catch Finley Coffee Beans at a number of locations throughout the week.

Every fortnight — on Tuesday and Wednesday — the van will be at the Finley saleyards for the sheep and cattle sales, from around 8.30am to 11.30am.

Another chance for a delicious treat will be available Wednesday to Friday at Harley Court in the Finley Industrial Area from 9.30am.

Finley Coffee Beans can also be found at Finley High School, Wednesday to Friday, from 11am.
