Bloods A grade still undefeated

Tocumwal A Grade had a physical game against an evenly matched Strathmerton side.

Both teams’ shooters were very accurate making mid-court defence crucial for turnovers.

Defenders Carissa Braybon and Leah Pate proved too strong for Stathmerton in the end to keep the Bloods’ unbeaten run alive.

Final score, Tocumwal 57 to Strathmerton 48.

B Grade showed great teamwork to once again beat a top team.

Final score, Tocumwal 45 to Strathmerton 38.

C Grade had smooth passages of play right along the court to take home the points.

Final score, Tocumwal 45 to Strathmerton 29.

C reserve failed to play their own game when coming up against a physical Doggies side.

Final score, Strathmerton 27 to Tocumwal 17.

In the under 17s, the Bloods made it five wins on the trot with a tight contest against a determined Dogs side.

Final score, Tocumwal 40 to Strathmerton 36.

Awards: Maddison Wooden, Gracie Reid, Hannah Paganoni and Wynta Brain.

The under 15s bounced back from last week’s loss with an emphatic 36 goal win on Saturday.

Final score, Tocumwal 52 to Strathmerton 16.

In the under 13s, the Bloods turned their round one result around to post their second win of the season.

Final score, Tocumwal 25 to Strathmerton 9.

Under 11s awards went to Tahlia Pate, Jessica Bennett, Hayley Palmer and Abby Jeffress.
