The Southern Riverina’s footballers of the future were taught new skills by some of the best in the business last week, when visiting North Melbourne players hosted a junior footy clinic.

The AFL Super Clinic was held at the Finley Recreation Reserve and coincided with a Youth Futures Careers Expo for Finley High senior students.

Children from most district schools joined together in a series of skill-based exercises, with extra guidance provided by some Finley High students.

All of the youngsters were thrilled to meet the Kangaroos players and take home some autographs.

The hour-long session was followed by a chance for the youngsters to have their photo taken with the AFL footballers, which included Lindsay Thomas, Jed Anderson, Declan Watson, Marley Williams, Trent Dumont and Shaun Atley.
